The Financial Wizards Summer Program

The Financial Wizards summer program is free for students, and they are responsible for their own travels. Due to high demand, we are offering the summer program not only in one but TWO locations this year!

Financial Wizards Bootcamp

A week-long financial literacy summer program for deaf and hard of hearing students entering 10th, 11th, and 12th grade in Fall 2024. The program strives to enhance the students’ financial literacy skills and provides an opportunity to explore various careers in finance and administration. Additionally, students will stay on campus, socialize with peers, and learn about college experiences.

Students have the option to choose one of the following locations (Note: The curriculum is identical for both weeks):

June 15th - 22nd, 2024, at Gallaudet University, Washington, DC

Information & Registration: https://gallaudet.edu/youth-programs/summer-youth-camps/financial-wizards/

July 6th - 11th, 2024, at RIT/NTID, Rochester, NY

The Financial Wizards Bootcamp is a collaboration between CSD Learns and the SIFMA Foundation. The SIFMA Foundation’s dedication to excellent financial literacy programs paired with CSD Learns’ strong bicultural and bilingual pedagogical approach improves economic opportunity for deaf and hard-of-hearing youth in K-12 education settings. We are proud of the Financial Wizards Bootcamp initiative and excited to share these American Sign Language (ASL) financial literacy resources with you! Learn more about both organizations at www.sifma.org/about/sifma-foundation and https://csdlearns.com/. This project is generously supported by a grant from Wells Fargo.

I’ve attached the flyers for you to share with your students. I’m also happy to answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to working with your students!

Warmly,

Julia
