Sheri Mize is our CTE Driver Education & Safety teacher and has worked at TSD for 34 years! She loves teaching Driver Education & Safety because it’s a challenging course but critical to ensure the safety of all drivers.
When asked what she enjoys most about working here she said, “The students are like my children and the CTE staff is just like a family".
A tip for new staff: she encourages having fun while you work - you’ve got to enjoy what you do. Her hobbies include: gardening, traveling, attending all TSD sporting events, and she can’t live without coke or sweet tea! Sheri is an integral part of TSD and is always willing and ready to help out when needed. Our school flourishes because of dedicated staff like her!
