It was an honor to have Dr. Andrew Donald visit TSD to share his background and journey on becoming a deaf dentist. Dr. Donald shared his knowledge on Forensic Odontology with High School Forensic Science students in Tara Holaday's class. Students are participating in a mock investigation project and used Dr. Donald's knowledge to work on teeth identification. After that, Dr. Donald gave a presentation to interested High School students about the field of dentistry and various careers within the field. He also explained the requirements to become a dentist, barriers he faces as a deaf dentist, and other specialities within the field. Thank you so much Dr. Donald for coming! Students learned so much!
