Dear Families,
Texas School for the Deaf will be distributing an in-home child identification kit to your child on behalf of the State of Texas. This program is entirely voluntary. If you decide to use the kit, you will have a set of fingerprints and DNA for your child that you can share with law enforcement if there is an emergency.
These kits are to be KEPT AT HOME and only to be given to law enforcement in case of an emergency.
This effort is just one more way to keep your children safe. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].

Estimadas familias,
Texas School for the Deaf distribuirá un kit de identificación de niños en el hogar a su hijo en nombre del estado de Texas. Este programa es totalmente voluntario. Si decide usar el kit, tendrá un juego de huellas dactilares y ADN de su hijo que podrá compartir con las fuerzas del orden público en caso de emergencia.
