Course Description: 

A survey of American literature including nonfiction, short stories, novels, plays and poems provides the source for critical thinking and literary essays. Coherent, clear and effective communication is developed through a variety of writing experiences including reflective essays, critical essays and a well-developed research paper. Students will present and critique ASL pieces and multimedia products. A research paper/project is required.
