This video provides a step-by-step guide on how to submit a facility request using the ML Schedules software.

Welcome to ML Schedules. This video will review how to submit a request. In order to begin the request process, you can either select a new request button at the top of the page or if you go to the date of the event and you select that date that will also allow you to begin the request process. Next you'll enter the location information of the request. You'll start by selecting the site. So, let's say I want to use the high school and then you'll  select the space. You are able to enter multiple spaces within the drop-down if the event requires that you use more than one facility. Next you'll select the frequency. The form will default to a one-time event; however, you are able to adjust the frequency of that event, if it needs to occur on more than one day. So let's say it was multiple days per week and it was every Monday and Wednesday. Next, you'll enter the start and end date of the request, as well as a start time and end time. So, let's say it's going to be every Monday and Wednesday from 3 until 5. Next, selective the view availability button. This will show you all the dates and times that you requested, as well as at those dates and times that are available. You can see here that May 25th is shown in red meaning that it's not available. In that situation you can either remove the date by selecting in the X button or you can also adjust the date, start time, and end time from this View, and as you make those adjustments the system automatically check availability for you. Selecting the continue button will allow you to enter any additional information regarding the event. You may see a view photos button which will allow you to see images of that facility, as well as any notes regarding the use of a facility. Down below, you can fill in any additional information such as the event title and any equipment or personnel needed for the event. You're also able to upload additional attachments, such as a diagram of how you want the room set up. At the bottom, you'll have to check off that you have agreed to the district's policies and they may require you to electronically sign for that request as well. For internal staff members, the button at the bottom of the page will simply say confirm incident request which will begin the approval process. But for outside groups, the district may require you to view your estimate of cost, and agree to the cost before finalizing a request. Once the "Continue to Estimated Costs" button is selected will be given a summary of the fees associated with your request. Once you agree to the estimated cost you will be able to submit the request. That will begin the approval process and you will be notified once your requests are either approved or decline.
