Emily's excellence shines as a High School English Teacher at the Texas School for the Deaf, where she collaborates on individualized education plans, delivers engaging English lessons, and tailors instructional strategies for diverse learners. Her mark extends to Harvard University, where she acted bilingually in an adapted production of Fun Home, showcasing her proficiency in both ASL and English.

Her prowess also emerges from roles as a Grant Writer and Copywriter at Ta-Da Studios Creative Agency, mastering language nuances for grant applications and crafting persuasive marketing content. Emily's commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident in her contributions as an English Master at the National Theatre of the Deaf and as a Paraprofessional Student Assistant at Gallaudet University's Division of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Her involvement with the Poor People’s Campaign and Kairos Center for Religions, Rights, and Social Justice reflects her advocacy for marginalized communities and her instrumental role in voter registration initiatives.

Emily's leadership flourishes as the Director of Communications for Gallaudet University's Student Body Government, adeptly managing communication channels, designing newsletters, and organizing impactful student initiatives.

With an unwavering commitment to empowerment, Emily also served as an Employment Services Assistant at the Division of Services for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and as a Direct Caregiver at D/S Community.
