The Interpreting Services Department is dedicated to providing communication access for staff, students, parents, and community of the Texas School for the Deaf.
The Interpreting Services Department serves the entire campus. Interpreters are often working within multiple departments throughout the day, including coverage of mainstream and off campus requests.
The department team consists of ten (10) certified staff interpreters and one (1) scheduler/administrative assistant.

TSD is committed to providing quality services. All interpreters are certified at the Board for Evaluation of Interpreters (BEI) Level III // Advanced or above, and/or Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) NIC-Advanced or above.
