Social Rangers and Web Rangers

Our TSD Ambassadors

TSD operates with decentralized communications and social media. The Social Media Task Force assigns specific individuals to be the “Social Ranger” of various social media sites within the department. In addition to this, each department has a Web Ranger who oversees the content for the TSD Website.

The responsibility of the Social Rangers/Web Rangers include:

  • General oversight of the assigned social media site and TSD main website section
  • Post fresh content frequently
  • Implement a listening and monitoring strategy
  • Stay abreast of trends related to assigned social media site
  • Track analytics
  • Share ideas and content with the Social Media Task Force
  • Report out news and information about the site to the Social Media Task Force
