The Youth Programs department from Gallaudet University proudly announces that their Summer Youth Programs will take place from June 25th to July 3rd, 2016! Their programs provide stimulating summer learning and experiential opportunities that blend excitement, education, and enjoyment in a bilingual environment rich in cultural diversity and located just minutes away from the U.S. Capitol. 

Their Discover Your Future camp is designed for deaf and hard of hearing students currently in the 9th-11th grades who want to learn more about themselves, their skills, and potential careers. Students will also explore what vibrant Washington, D.C. has to offer. 

The Immerse Into ASL! camp is a great opportunity for deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing high school students currently in the 9th-11th grades who want to learn American Sign Language (ASL) or expand their ASL skills. Three different course levels are offered. 

Their Young Scholars Program: Exploring the Sciences camp is designed for deaf and hard of hearing students currently in the 8th-11th grades who want to explore chemistry, marine biology, genetics, and neuroscience during the camp.

The new Young Scholars Program: r/Evolutionary Stages! camp is designed for deaf and hard of hearing thespians currently in the 8th-11th grades who will learn about the various parts of a theater production and get an opportunity to create their own production.
