The 2012 TSD Summer Programs are in session

Programs open to deaf and hard of hearing students from across the state of Texas. Now in session, please read more if you are registered and need information.

TSD scores big at Battle of the Books!

Students from the Texas School for the Deaf did a great job at the past Battle of the Books (BOTB) Placing first on two of the four divisions and 2nd in the other two.

TSD presents Peter Pan

Peter Pan is produced by Student Development at Texas School for the Deaf.
Directed by JoAnn Benfield and Gabrielle Nocciolino and Produced by Clint Sadler. It will be presented at the TSD Auditorium May 10th, 11th and 12th. (There will be a dry run TSD STUDENTS ONLY on May 9th).

TSD Student Eco-Art Contest Gallery Open

Come and visit the temporary Art Gallery featuring the works of all participant in the Go Green Art Contest. The Gallery will be open until Friday April 27th at the CTE Building.

Going Once…Going Twice…GOING GREEN!

The Texas School for the Deaf, won the grand prize for the Global Green USA Green School Makeover Competition presented by Pureology Serious Colour Care. TSD was Selected from more than 220 public, private and charter K – 12 school entries across the country.

Campus is re-opened. (UPDATED 3.12.12)

On Monday, March 12th, at approximately eight in the evening, we were able to restore power to the whole campus. We will be open for business on Tuesday, March 13th.

CEASD Accreditation Self-Study Report

On, November 2, 2011, the CEASD Visiting Team provided an exit report to the school community in the TSD Auditorium. The recommendation by the team to the CEASD Board of Directors is FULL ACCREDITATION.

Language For All

The Language For All campaign is a public-professional partnership between the Texas School for the Deaf Foundation and SicolaMartin, a premier Austin-based advertising and marketing agency. It's an awareness and fundraising campaign designed to inform all Texans about TSD and the challenges faced by our children.

Graduation Class of 2011

The Class of 2011 celebrated commencement under typical scorching summer skies on a day that seemed perfect to begin a new chapter in their lives.
