We are pleased to offer within the summer programs for middle school students, activities related to future goals and career interests through collaboration with the Gallaudet University's Enrollment Management Unit.

Summer Programs at the Texas School for the Deaf encompasses a broad array of opportunities for students, families and professionals. Student programs include parent-infant programs, sports camps, high school coursework and drivers safety and education. A Family Weekend Retreat provides a unique and very special experience for families who travel from across the state to learn about many topics related to raising deaf and hard of hearing children. And, training opportunities for professionals through experiences such as the Communication Skills Workshops provides a highly regarded opportunity to improve skills prior to the next year of school.

All of these programs are open to people from across the state of Texas. There is a maximum number of participants who can be accommodated therefore, interested persons are encouraged to register early to ensure availability.
