Hello, my name is Beth Keysear and I am one of the ACCESS teachers. I worked as an educational interpreter for 9 years in public schools in Florida and in Illinois. I have two B.A. degrees, one in Elementary Education and one in Deaf Education from MacMurray College. I taught high school at the Illinois School for the Deaf last year. My husband and I moved to Austin in July and I am so excited to be a part of this amazing school community.
My husband and I have three children between us and they are currently living all around the country (Colorado, Florida, and Illinois). This is the first time we have been far from our kids so we plan to spend a lot of time visiting them when school is not in session. Our children are 21, 21, and 18 years old! Whenever possible you will find me swimming, reading, or entertaining friends. I also love to cook, restore furniture, and shop!
I am beyond thrilled to be a Ranger! Remember this year, the theme is "the Power of WE". Please contact me if I can provide additional support or if you have questions. WE includes teachers, staff, students, parents, employers...
