My name is Charlie Ainsworth. I teach Economics and U.S. Government to seniors here. This is my second year teaching! I graduated from Gallaudet University with a B.A. in History and Theatre Arts in 2014. My love for history landed me this position and I continue to see my enthusiasm grow as I teach my students social studies.
Here's some cool facts about me:
-I was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota.
-I have profound love for football and played for Minnesota State Academy for the Deaf.
-I snowboard and am pretty good at it.
-In my five years at Gallaudet, I was in 18 theatre productions - coming down to an average of 1.8 productions per -semester! (That is a lot, by the way).
-I am addicted to watching movies. I still get my work done, no worries!
-I did my senior thesis on Freak Shows in the turn of the 20th century.
I hope you found those facts as cool as I did!
Anyways, you can find my syllabus if you click on "Economics - 12th" under the "Classes" tab. You can see it below this post. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to e-mail me! Just click on "Send email" under my photo.
