Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

 

My name is Mrs. Laura Smith, and I teach classes for 7th grade Bilingual Language Arts! I am also a TSD Middle School Battle of the Books chaperone, and I help coordinate our program! This is my 12th year teaching and my 10th year at TSD! I am looking forward to another great year, and I am excited to see all that our scholars accomplish!

 

During instruction, students are challenged in order to reach their full potential with a variety of academic activities that foster the "whole child" development while creating rigorous learning in order to teach all required curriculum from the state of Texas. Each student reaches new goals, works collaboratively with their peers, and encounters brand new academic adventures!
