Greetings!

I teach middle school math at the Texas School for the Deaf. This is my 11th year teaching- I still have the same energy level as my first year as I love to teach math and see students succeed their academic goals.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Finance/Business Administration from Wichita State University in 2000 and Master's degree in Deaf Education/Deaf Studies from Lamar University in 2005. I was employed at Bank of America after my graduation from Wichita State and was an adjacent professor at Lamar University before I relocated to Austin to teach at TSD.

I am involved with MATHCOUNTS as a coach and after school tutoring on Mondays and Wednesdays. During the Summer Program, I also supervise the program for the middle school age group.

My other areas of interest are real estate, stock market, card games, home renovations, and outdoor activities. I am also actively involved in my community and my children's sports all year round.

I look forward to a great school year with your child(ren).
