Hello! My name is Alicia Veit. I am a High School Career Counselor and I work with students (last names A-L) from 9th grade through 12th grade. It is my 6th year here at TSD as a Career Counselor.
 
I received my Bachelor's degree in Family & Child Studies from Gallaudet University and Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from San Diego State University. I worked as a Career Counselor at the San Diego Community College District and as a Vocational Rehabilitation counselor in Santa Rosa, CA and then in Washington, DC before relocating to Austin to work at TSD as a Career Counselor. 
 
My husband and I have two boys and a little girl at home. We also have a lovable Australian Shepherd dog and five egg-laying chickens at home. Other than career counseling, my areas of interest are international and domestic traveling (my favorites are: Asia and South America), outdoor activities, home renovations, gardening and reading.
